Easy-Access Preload Adjustment Feature Patented

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted PBC Linear® a patent on the innovative side-adjustment feature for controlling preload on linear guided roller bearings mounted to a variety of carriages.  This feature enables easy access for preload adjustment without a user needing to remove mounting plates, end effectors, or other payloads from the carriage. 

Currently this feature, covered under patent number US8,070,361 B2, is used in the Redi-Rail® Linear Guide family, on the Integral-V Technology (IVT) range of carriages, and in the SIMO® Series Linear Motion Platform.
