A little over a year ago, Pacific Bearing
Company enhanced its name to PBC Linear to better communicate our
services to our customers. Since CEO Bob Schroeder established PBC in
1983, PBC Linear has taken his vision to new heights by not only
manufactures high-performance components, but well-designed mechanical
sub-assemblies and complete, problem-solving linear motion solutions.
PBC Linear carved out its
reputation for solving the toughest linear motion problems with the
invention of the self-lubricating Simplicity® linear plane bearing.
Developed as a solution to common environmental obstacles that cause
linear ball bearings to bind, stall, and fail, the Simplicity® bearing
provided long-lasting smooth and quiet linear motion in extreme
temperatures, vibration, contamination and dirt. As our company
expanded, we have carried on the tradition of providing inventive
components, sub-assemblies and full solutions to a wide range of
industries worldwide.
Though PBC Linear is a
global linear motion company, we manufacture all of our long-lasting
products at our 150,000 ft² facility in Roscoe, IL to ensure quality and
performance. We combine our engineering ingenuity with our
manufacturing prowess to provide a strategic manufacturing and assembly
line that allows our products to sustain consistent, competitive
advantages. An example of this is our patent pending SIMO™ (Simultaneous
Integral Milling Operation) process. By consistently milling all
critical edges of an aluminum extrusion in one pass, the SIMO™ process
assures simple, high accuracy mounting and elimination of the aligning
and post-machining process. This allows our products to be more durable,
precise and lightweight. It also gives our customers high accuracy
extrusions at little to no added cost.
