Flange Mounts - Plane Bearings

Flange Mount Plane Bearings offer the same great advantages of the Simplicity Linear Plane Bearings and they also incorporate a perpendicular flange for easy mounting.  Flange Mount Linear Plane Bearings come in single and double length and offer Round or Square flanges.  The double length bearings allow for a flange to be located at the end or in the center of the bearing.  Flange Mount Plane Bearings are available in Imperial (inch), ISO Metric and JIS Metric versions.  Some additional benefits include:

Square Flange Mount Inch Plane Bearings (SFP) are the Imperial (inch) single length version of this type of bearing.  This bearing also features PBC Linear’s patented self-aligning housing, to help compensate for any misalignment in the application.  This bearing is most commonly found in North America, and features a Frelon-lined Simplicity linear plane bearing retained in a sturdy aluminum housing. The flange is located at one end of the bearing.  Additional features and benefits include:

• Available in sizes 1/2” ID to 1” ID
• Static Load Capacities up to 3800 lb  (16,900 N)
• Self Lubricating for oil free operation

Square (SFPM) and Round (SFPMR) Flange Mount Single Metric Plane Bearings are the ISO Metric single length versions of this type of bearing, and they are most commonly found in Europe.  This single flange mount bearing has a sturdy aluminum body with a Frelon liner bonded directly to the ID.  The flange is located at one end of the bearing.  Additional features and benefits include:

• Static Load Capacities up to 284,000 N (63,900 lb)
