PBC Linear’s Polymer Bearing Compound E is a thermoplastic compound comprised of PBT polymer matrix reinforced with synthetic fibers and modified with triboadditives. Polymer thrust washers made with compound E are designed to assist with axial loads, and offer very cost effective sliding performance under moderate operational conditions. These composite thrust washers are self lubricating, offering virtually no maintenance. State-of-the-art injection-molding technology allows PBC to maintain the critical dimensional tolerances crucial for precision fits. The polymer Compound E’s excellent load bearing and self-lubricating properties make them ideal thrust washer candidates for demanding applications such as transmissions, gearboxes, transfer cases, compressors, turbo machinery, and pumps.
