We do this by making substantial time investments in testing our products and building our knowledge base, all the while creating innovative solutions that cater to both broad and specific customer needs. Examples include our SIMO® process which streamlines the manufacturing processes resulting in lower cost and ensured performance, or our simplified assembly solution products like Integral V Technology (IVT).
A recent introduction is the addition of 4- and 5-roller carriages (or sliders) to our popular Redi-Rail® product line. What this means for customers is added flexibility of multiple roller options that can potentially save money in designs where a single 4- or 5-roller slider can take the place of two 3-roller sliders. In some cases that savings can approach 25%. Another advantage is that the rail will likely be shorter in most designs due to the reduction in space taken by a single slider as opposed to two sliders. The competitive marketplace is demanding innovation. Customers are looking for solutions that reduce total installed cost while delivering the same, if not superior, performance to traditional approaches. -- John Good, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
We enjoy sharing our experiences
Our website reflects a constant need to challenge ourselves to bring customers new and innovative solutions to linear motion. Customers and industry leaders that come to our website will find a trove of informative technical videos, whitepapers, and literature that offer the best choices in linear motion design. They may choose from a range of topics that includes the 2:1 ratio, pre-load adjustment, where and when to use particular linear guide technologies, or the full cost comparisons of IVT vs. competitors.
We have developed the PBC Linear site to serve not just engineers, but anyone in an industry that requires a linear motion solution. The site grants users easy access to CAD files via our online configurator, as well as product information and detailed specifications.
Looking ahead to future, PBC Linear will continue to be a driving force in sophisticated linear motion design. We will continue to use our inventive products to address new emerging market trends such as factory and warehouse automation, hygienic food medical applications, and cartesian robotic solutions.
