Redi-Rail Linear Guide Rails with Raceways and Cam Roller Sliders
Ways to Order
Linear guide rails work with carriages to guide precise straight-line motion on one axis with just one degree of freedom. They use either rolling contact (such as cam rollers or ball bearings) or sliding contact, depending on load, speed, and smoothness requirements. In the rolling contact category, the Redi-Rail Series uses cam roller carriages on precision aluminum linear rails with gothic arch raceways made of hardened or stainless steel, delivering lightweight, corrosion-resistant linear motion. The carriages (sliders) are equipped with sealed RC60 or stainless steel cam roller bearings that can be easily adjusted for preload. Redi-Rail is an excellent alternative to profile rail and well suited for high-speed, moderate-load automation tasks. Additional benefits include oil-impregnated wiper seals for self-lubrication and built-in wheel seals for protection in harsh environments. The guides are available in inch and metric sizes and have patented side adjustment for preload (metric only). Linear rails maintain parallelism within 0.050 mm and are available in lengths up to 6,000 mm.
- Patented side adjustment feature (only in metric sizes) makes setting preload easy
- Standard oil-impregnated wiper seals self-lubricate shaft raceways.
- Wheels feature integral seals for protection in contaminated environments.
- Precision-machined rails ensure shaft raceways are parallel within 0.050 mm
- Available in 3-, 4-, and 5-roller carriage options
- Continuous rail lengths up to 6,000 mm (236 in)
