Linear Ball Bearing Pillow Blocks

Browse Categories
Linear ball bearing pillow blocks combine an aluminum alloy housing with an integrated linear ball bearing, providing a ready-to-mount assembly for low-friction, higher-speed motion on round shafts. Available in single and twin sizes, with twin units configured as if two standard pillow blocks were placed back-to-back, they are offered in closed designs for full shaft support or open designs that give clearance for rail-supported shafts and profiled rails. Precision steel balls and resin retainer polymer cages help provide smooth travel, quiet operation, and efficient motion, while standard double seals protect against contaminants to help extend bearing life. Because they use rolling elements instead of sliding contact, these pillow blocks are also well suited for longer strokes and cantilevered loads where the 2:1 binding rule can limit plain bearing systems. Inch sizes from 1/4" to 2" and metric sizes from 8mm to 50mm are available, with size interchangeability to industry standards and PBC Linear Simplicity® plain linear bearings. Select variants support press-fit or slip-fit installation with epoxy and include a self-aligning crowned bearing shell or grease zerk fitting for easy lubrication.
